Russia Unified eVisa for Singaporean Citizens

Ordinary Singapore national passport holders can use Russia's unified e-visa for a qualifying single-entry trip. No tourist invitation is required for that route. Use a regular visa only when the trip does not fit the current e-visa conditions; diplomatic and official passports have a separate published waiver scope.

Quick answer

Ordinary Singapore national passport holders can use Russia's unified e-visa for a qualifying single-entry trip. No tourist invitation is required for that route. Use a regular visa only when the trip does not fit the current e-visa conditions; diplomatic and official passports have a separate published waiver scope.

Choose the correct Russia entry route

An e-visa and a regular tourist visa are different procedures. Order an invitation only when the regular tourist visa route requires it.

Unified e-visa

Singapore is on the current Russian MFA unified e-visa list. The e-visa is single-entry, valid for 120 days and permits a stay of up to 30 days. Apply through the official MFA account or app between 86 and 4 days before expected entry. No invitation, hotel confirmation or other travel-purpose document is submitted for issuance.

Check the official e-visa portal

Regular tourist visa

For a regular tourist visa, the Singapore mission lists a signed application from visa.kdmid.ru, a national passport, one 3.5 × 4.5 cm colour photograph and a Tourist Confirmation Voucher from a qualifying Russian travel agency or hotel. A non-Singaporean applicant must also check the mission's local-status evidence rule.

The Tourist Confirmation Voucher supports only a regular tourist-visa application. It is not required for the unified e-visa, does not itself decide the visa or entry, and a normal hotel booking is not presented as a substitute for Singapore nationals.

Keep the e-visa and regular-visa documents separate

These are different applications. Prepare only the checklist for the route that fits the trip.

Unified e-visa checklist

Confirm nationality and purpose

Check Singapore on the MFA list and confirm that the travel purpose is permitted.

Confirm single-entry limits

Plan one entry and up to 30 days of stay within the 120-day validity period.

File in the official window

Apply through the MFA account or app between 86 and 4 days before expected entry.

Prepare the digital application

Use the qualifying machine-readable passport, passport-data JPEG and compliant face photograph.

Check insurance and checkpoints

Reconfirm current entry-and-stay insurance and approved border-point conditions.

Keep the result notice

Monitor correction requests and print or save the official result for travel checks.

Regular tourist-visa alternative

Confirm the regular route

Use it only when the trip does not fit the unified e-visa conditions.

Obtain the voucher

Use a Tourist Confirmation Voucher from a qualifying Russian travel agency or hotel and verify its data.

Complete the official form

Fill in visa.kdmid.ru and sign the application as instructed by the mission.

Prepare passport and photo

Follow the live mission checklist, including the current 3.5 × 4.5 cm colour-photo requirement.

Check Singapore status if needed

A non-Singaporean applicant should prepare the mission's listed status evidence in original and copy.

Book and recheck

Use the official appointment link and recheck live payment, document and passport-return instructions.

Regular tourist visa: document roles

Visa application documents

For a regular tourist visa, the Singapore mission lists a signed application from visa.kdmid.ru, a national passport, one 3.5 × 4.5 cm colour photograph and a Tourist Confirmation Voucher from a qualifying Russian travel agency or hotel. A non-Singaporean applicant must also check the mission's local-status evidence rule.

Tourist invitation

The Tourist Confirmation Voucher supports only a regular tourist-visa application. It is not required for the unified e-visa, does not itself decide the visa or entry, and a normal hotel booking is not presented as a substitute for Singapore nationals.

Where to submit

Apply for the e-visa only through the official MFA account or app. A regular application in Singapore uses the mission's online appointment route and live document and payment instructions. The mission controls appointment availability, review and passport return.

Need the voucher and confirmation for a regular tourist visa?

Use passport-matching data and verify the local filing instructions before submission.

Singapore: e-visa, regular-visa costs, documents and appointment

Separate the official e-visa payment, any regular consular charge and the private price of a tourist voucher. Use live official sources for current amounts and filing instructions rather than one combined total.

How much does a Russian visa cost from Singapore?

The official e-visa is a paid MFA service, while a regular visa and a private tourist voucher have separate charges. Check the live MFA and Singapore mission pages for current official amounts and payment instructions.

How long does the application take?

The MFA currently states no more than four calendar days after e-visa submission. For a regular visa, the Singapore mission starts review after all required documents are received and warns that requirements and timing may change.

Which documents belong to each route?

For the e-visa, follow the MFA digital passport and face-photo requirements. For a regular tourist visa, follow the Singapore mission's signed form, passport, photograph and Tourist Confirmation Voucher checklist.

When is a regular visa needed instead of the e-visa?

Use the appropriate regular visa when the nationality, passport, purpose, single-entry pattern, stay limit or planned checkpoint does not meet the current e-visa conditions.

Is an appointment needed?

No consular visit is used to apply for the e-visa. A regular application in Singapore follows the mission's official online appointment route; availability and handling are not guaranteed here.

How should insurance be handled?

Check the central e-visa insurance condition for the passport used. It is an entry-and-stay check subject to current reciprocity exceptions, not a universal e-visa upload or blanket regular-tourist claim for Singapore nationals.

Choose and prepare the correct route

Confirm passport scope

Use the ordinary Singapore national passport rule; diplomatic and official passports have a separate published waiver scope.

Confirm e-visa fit

Check purpose, single-entry pattern, stay limit and planned checkpoint on the official portal.

Apply through the MFA

Use only the official account or app in the 86-to-4-day application window.

Keep documents route-specific

Do not add a tourist voucher, regular form or hotel confirmation to the e-visa application.

Check local status when relevant

A non-Singaporean filing a regular visa in Singapore should check the mission's original-and-copy status evidence.

Recheck live mission instructions

For a regular visa, verify appointment, payment, documents and collection directly with the mission.

How the regular tourist visa process works

1

Confirm the entry route

Check whether the unified e-visa fits your trip. If not, follow the regular tourist visa procedure.

2

Prepare the tourist invitation

For a regular tourist visa, obtain the voucher and confirmation using exactly the same passport and travel data.

3

Complete the official application

Fill in the Russian MFA visa application and prepare the documents listed by the responsible embassy, consulate or visa centre.

4

Follow the local submission instructions

Apply for the e-visa only through the official MFA account or app. A regular application in Singapore uses the mission's online appointment route and live document and payment instructions. The mission controls appointment availability, review and passport return.

5

Wait for the consular decision

The invitation provider does not issue the visa. The Russian consular authority reviews the complete application and makes the decision.

Visa routes beyond tourism

Use a visa category that matches the actual purpose of travel. A tourist invitation cannot replace an employer, university, family or organization sponsor.

Business visa

A business visa requires the appropriate host or organization-sponsored documents. iVisa does not offer its business-invitation product for this citizenship.

Work, study and private visits

Work visas require employer-sponsored documents, student visas require an educational institution, and private visas use the applicable host procedure. Do not order a tourist invitation for those purposes.
