Step 1. Choose your citizenship to start

To receive a tourist invitation to Russia, please indicate your citizenship. You will be provided with a registration form. Fill in all the fields carefully, then proceed to the next step to confirm and pay for your invitation.

Use the regular visa matching the actual purpose

For transit, use the supporting document required by the responsible authority. The iVisa tourist order form does not issue private, work, study or transit documents.

Russian Transit Visa for Citizens of Germany

A classic invitation letter is NOT required for a transit visa. Your travel tickets serve as the basis.

What you need instead of an invitation:

Valid tickets for entry into and exit from Russia
Visa to the country of final destination (if required)
Valid medical insurance

Alternative: Tourist Visa

If the itinerary does not meet the official transit conditions, check the appropriate regular-visa category. A tourist invitation supports only a regular tourist visa and does not replace transit documents.
