Russian Visa for US Citizens

US citizens require a visa to enter Russia. The application process involves specific requirements and fees that differ from other nationalities.

Visa fees for US citizens are $160 for all visa types (tourist, business, work, etc.) regardless of the number of entries. This is a reciprocal fee based on US visa fees for Russian citizens.

US citizens can obtain tourist visas (up to 30 days), business visas (up to 3 years with multiple entries), and other visa types.

The Russian Embassy is located in Washington D.C., with Consulates General in New York, Houston, and Seattle. Visa applications can also be submitted through authorized visa centers.

Processing time for US citizens is typically 4-10 business days for standard processing. Rush processing (1-3 days) is available for an additional fee.

Required documents: valid passport, completed application form, passport photo, visa invitation, travel insurance, and the consular fee payment.
